Let’s face it – if you were to look-up “fierce” in the annals of post-millennial music, a plethora of Scissor Sisters ephemera would burst forth, as if from a pop-up book, complete with an inflatable pair of shapely legs in stilettos, a disco ball, some skintight and sparkly fashions by Zaldy, lashes for days, some fiercely body-waved auburn locks, a close-cropped beard, a Gibson 335, and a pair of clenched butt-cheeks; all wrapped in a feather boa and covered in glitter (lots and lots of glitter), with that singular falsetto crying “Hello, hello (hello, hello)?”

Now that we’re all on the same page, as regards their bona fides, who’s in the mood to dance their way into free tickets to the Scissor Sisters’ concert, at House of Blues, this Friday night?

If you read that question and thought “Oh, Hell no!” then I’ll check ya later.

If your thoughts ran more toward “What/who am I gonna have to do, to get my hands on those tickets?” I’m gonna make you (and your knees) very happy.

It’s simple – get your ass over to Share Nightclub, this Thursday, for the new JOYRIDE party, where we’ll be giving away tickets to the Sisters’ concert, supporting their fourth studio album, Magic Hour (see my review, from the June’12 issue of VEGAS/RATED, in the slideshow, above).

But get there early, because the doors open at 8pm, and you can bet your sweet Aunt Bippy that those tickets are gonna go, tout de suite!
