Wed Nite = Fendi + KMA @ Crystals

FENDI – the Italian fashion house for which Karl Lagerfeld has been designing since the mid-‘60s – is known the world over as an accessories giant (remember that great Sex and the City episode where the ladies got themselves kicked-out of the Playboy Mansion over fake-FENDI accusations?) and designer of some of the finest furs, anywhere.  The LVMH acquisition has been at it since the mid-‘20s and remains one of the best examples of Roman luxury goods.

Now, FENDI is opening their second Las Vegas outpost (the first can be found across from Spago Café at the Forum Shops at Caesars) at Crystals at CityCenter, with a party honoring the company’s new affiliation with the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.  In addition to the spectacular coat they’ve donated to the auction for the annual Keep Memory Alive benefit (February 27th at Bellagio), FENDI is graciously donating a percentage of the proceeds from this opening night event to Keep Memory Alive.

There will be a performance by rock/jazz pianist Elew as well as cocktails and hors d’oeuvres to enjoy while you shop for the ensemble you’ll wear at the Keep Memory Alive gala on the 27th.
