Recently, during a Mixology class she led in Sinatra as part of the resort’s immersive Connoisseur Series, Wynn’s Master Mixologist, Mariena Mercer Boarini, taught us how to prepare a trio of holiday-themed cocktails.  The great thing about Mariena—besides being talented, knowledge, authentic, delightful, confident, and dressing like a stylish ninja—is that she doesn’t condescend as a teacher and makes her classes easy to understand and fun.  During this class, we learned how to make (and then drink) the Poinsettia Punch Sangria, the Spiced Hot Toddy, and the Holly Jolly Espresso Martini.  Needless to say, they were each fantastic, with the Poinsettia Punch Sangria being hands-down the most delicious Sangria I’ve ever tasted.

This timeless cocktail receives a festive makeover with chestnut-infused Whistlepig Rye and morello cherry-infused vermouth.

Order this spiced version of a Hot Toddy with Bulleit Rye, St. George Spiced Pear Liqueur, lemon, and gingersnap tea-spiked honey, and head directly to the nearest fireplace for a photo op.

Start the day by blending two favorite bevies: the pumpkin spice latte and the espresso martini. This libation features Casamigos Reposado Tequila, Licor 43 Horchata, Kahlúa Coffee Liqueur, La Colombe Espresso, and pumpkin spice.
