My favorite Stella McCartney story isn’t about fashion, at all, but involves her and some friends listening to Guns n’ Roses at her dad’s house, and Sir Paul having to convince them that he and Linda (not Axl and Slash) had, in fact, written “Live and Let Die” as the theme to the James Bond film of the same name. It doesn’t have anything to do with anything, but it’s a cute story, all the same.

Well, the unassuming and immensely talented Stella McC has just opened her first Las Vegas shop, at Crystals at CityCenter, and you are invited to join a quintet of local lovelies – Cherise Angelle, Vanessa Breitling, Joele Corrigan, Marilyn Crawford and Gina Schonfeld – as they host a delightful spot of midday shopping to benefit Nevada Ballet Theatre.

Stella’s Spring 2011 collections feature Boho looks, white wardrobes, corals and florals – as well as some big, juicy citrus fruits. (Boy, that Ken Downing from Neiman Marcus really knows his stuff!)
In addition to pressing-up into the gorgeous vestments, you can partake of yummy cocktails and tasty victuals.

Also worth checking-out is the new Stella McCartney Kids line. It’s cuter than a grinder-monkey wearing a fez, and features military jackets, cowboy-themes pajamas, and bright yellow side-zip Wellies!
