Getting people in the F1 mood, Resorts World Las Vegas has teamed up with K1 Speed to present the K1 Speed Experience, a limited-time indoor go-kart racing experience at The Complex.  There, guests are invited to experience a taste of Race Week with family and friends, challenging racers of all skill levels while racing K1’s high-performance electric karts around the course’s tight corners, high-speed straights, and changing elevations.  K1’s karts are safe, environmentally friendly, and guaranteed to provide guests with a smooth, fast-paced experience they won’t soon forget.

Providing a safe racing environment is paramount at the K1 Speed Experience, so all drivers will be measured on-site, and in addition to meeting the minimum height requirement of 4’10” (58” or 147.3cm), must be able to demonstrate that they are able to safely operate all elements of the kart; with final approval left to management’s discretion.

Further, all racers must have a signed waiver on file in their account, with minors required to have their waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.

Once all of the formalities have been taken care of, it’s really quite fun!  In fact, despite being a complete wuss who is in no way an adrenaline seeker, I did it and had a blast!

The Complex: K1 Speed Experience is open Monday, November 11 through Friday, November 15 from 2PM-10PM; Saturday, November 16 and Sunday, November 17 from 12PM-10PM; Monday, November 18 and Tuesday, November 19 from 2PM-10PM; and Wednesday, November 20 through Sunday, November 17 from 12PM-12AM.
