MDW - Tiesto Girl
Dance to Tiësto - Saturday
at Wet Republic

Navigating your way through the plethora of options available this Memorial Day Weekend – whether pools, clubs, appearances, DJs, and restaurants – is a daunting task.  And while all of them hold a bit of allure, I’ve found that it’s best to pick one or two and live it up.  The alternative is enough to leave you exhausted.  So, here are some of the events that have really piqued my interest.

MDW - Lil Jon
Lil Jon - Saturday at Surrender Nightclub

Saturday – get into the international electro-grooves of Tiësto at Wet Republic at MGM Grand.  Later, when the sun goes down, sidle over to Encore Las Vegas to catch a live DJ set by crunk-meister, Lil Jon at Surrender Nightclub, followed by a late-night snack at Society Café.  Then close-out the week by dancing till dawn at Rain Nightclub where Zen Freeman will join Paul Oakenfold on the Main Stage, when The Love Festival takes over Palms Casino Resort.  And for the late, late-night scene, no place does it quite like The Artisan, where Svast & Stellar will be joined by DJs Josh Abrams and Mikeattack.

MDW - Far East Movement
Far East Movement - Sunday at Venus Pool Club

Sunday – recharge your batteries by fueling-up with some Bloody Marias at the Mariachi Brunch at T&T at Luxor.  Once you’re back on-track, pop in to Venus Pool Club at Caesars Palace for a live performance by Far East Movement, before returning to Encore Las Vegas for the One Year Anniversary of Encore Beach Club featuring Kaskade.

MDW - Josh Strickland
Josh Strickland - Sunday at
Blush Boutique Nightclub

Don’t forget to grab a disco nap, because Josh Strickland (co-star of PEEPSHOW and Holly’s World) will be performing his hit single “Report to the Floor” at Blush Boutique Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas.  Then skootch on over to Palms, once more, where you can catch local rocker Franky Perez’s Born & Raising Hell in Las Vegas show, in The Lounge, before Paul van Dyk takes over the Main Stage at Rain, as The Love Festival hits its climax.  Still have a little of that jam that you haven't yet finished pumping-out?  Then head back to after-hours at The Artisan, for Rhythm Industry Sunday, featuring DJs Brian Campbell and Justin Key.

Monday – if you’re still here, and able to bust the proverbial move, hit Wet Republic for F**K Me I’m Famous, featuring David Guetta; followed by a return-trip to Encore Beach Club, where dangermau5 will be playing to those folks who can still boogie (or at least sway) to the beats.
