Sounding a bit like an English mix of Sherry St. Germain, Peaches, Plavka, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, and Debbie Harry; looking more than a bit like a cross between a '60s Italian film siren and Amy Winehouse (if styled by Malcolm McLaren); is Luciana (née Luciana Caporaso) - the darling of über-DJ/producers, the world over.

Prior to moving to the US, in 2010, Luciana had a successful run in her native UK and Australia, recording with the group Crush, and as a featured artist with production twosome Bodyrox, as well as a songwriter (she and her writing partner, Nick Clow, co-wrote Kylie Minogue’s “Cupid Boy”).

Then, last spring, she recorded “I’m Still Hot” for Audacious Records.  The song, produced by Dave Audé, was an unmitigated success, racing up the US Hot Dance Songs and Hot Dance Airplay charts, reaching number one, on both.

The song became so popular, in fact, insurance-settlement company The Lifeline Program asked Luciana to collaborate with Betty White on a second version of “I’m Still Hot” – the video for which received its world premiere on Good Morning America.  In this version, Luciana enters into a rap “battle” with her gal-pal White.  It’s good stuff.  Watch the video, below…

Over the past few years, Luciana has established herself as a go-to vocalist for such A-list EDM producers as Taio Cruz, Richard “Humpty” Vission, Fedde Le Grand, and (most recently) on Tiësto & Wolfgang Gartner’s track “We Own the Night” that appeared on Tiësto’s  best-selling and chart-topping album, ClubLife: Volume Two – Miami.

Recently, the sexy songstress brought her act to Las Vegas, performing a live set at Hyde Bellagio, for a screaming standing-room-only crowd, that couldn’t get enough of her sassy ways.

Up next, an EP to be released later, this year; featuring tracks produced by Dave Audé, Benny Benassi, and deadmau5.
