Peppermill - sign ground

There’s just something about The Peppermill that has endeared it to multiple generations of Las Vegans.  And while it wasn’t considered kitschy when it opened; now, nearly forty years later, it has certainly achieved that distinction – and wears it with pride.  Films including Casino and Showgirls as well as television series such as Vega$ and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation have all filmed on location, at The Peppermill.

But there’s so much more to The Peppermill 24 Hour Restaurant & Fireside Lounge than the retro vibe.  It has become an institution amongst locals and tourists, alike, for any number of reasons.  First, Las Vegas is a city where the booze flows freely; and The Peppermill serves that wonderful mix of late-night grub and greasy-spoon classics that’ll soak-up whatever you’ve thrown back, so you don’t wake-up a hung-over mess.  My favorite - the Tangy Buffalo Chicken Wrap with a side of Crispy Onion Rings

And, then, of course, there’s the famous Fireside Lounge.  There’s the round flaming pool around which some of Las Vegas’ most potent potables are served.  In case you haven’t had your fill before showing-up at 3am, order one of The Peppermill’s exotic cocktails, such as a Blue Hawaiian or a Scorpion, and you’ll be able to call it a night.  Just make sure you’re not even considering the operation of any heavy machinery.

Hey!  The Po-Po gets hungry, too!

The fashion stories are always a treat, and what’s more, due to a constant police presence, there’s always a sense of safety and well-being.  There’s usually something shady going on, down the street; but at The Peppermill, it’s a good time, all the time.
