The Lion of Judah is roaring once more, and that is the signal from Jah that Reggae in the Desert is upon us, again, courtesy of Frederic Apcar Productions.  Yah mahn! 

Check it!  There are dozens of vendors purveying Caribbean arts and crafts, and some of the best Jerk Chicken, this side of the Islands, and fried plantains that’ll bring a tear to your eye – not to mention the ubiquitous Shave Ice that is certain to cool you down when the mercury starts rising.

But when all is said and done, this showcase of the Caribbean lifestyle is brought together with the unifying power of Reggae music – and Frederic Apcar Productions presents some of Jamaica’s best performers, including Freddie McGregor, Mykal Rose, Don Carlos, Junior Reid, Michael Black and Detour Posse, as well as DJ Ramma.
