Henri Bendel was a lot of firsts.  He was the first retailer to brand himself, trademarking his now legendary chocolate-and-white logo; the first to set himself up in a store on upper Fifth Avenue; the first to bring Coco Chanel to America; and even the first to employ a then-unheard-of illustrator named Andy Warhol.  Now, the vaunted New York retailer (bought by Limited Brands’ Les Wexner in the mid ‘80s) is coming to Fashion Show Mall, with the first of two new Las Vegas locations.

On Wednesday, August 29th, actress Lucy Hale (Pretty Little Liars) will be hosting the grand opening celebration, including a champagne toast and a digital photo-booth for guests’ amusement.

Also, through September 2nd, anyone spending more than $150 will receive a limited edition tote; while all purchases will receive a limited edition “Bendelized” iPhone case (while supplies last).  PLUS, every shopper will be given “splurge cards” with any purchase, good for 20% off a future purchase of $100 or more.

And as a special bonus, all guests are invited to enter a drawing for a 2-night trip to New York, with a $1,500 shopping spree at Henri Bendel on Fifth Avenue.
