With Halloween fast upon us, it’s no wonder that the nightlife oasis that is the El Vee is ramping-up for a week’s worth of top-shelf entertainment.  And nowhere is this more evident, than with the trio of nightclubs – Surrender, Tryst, and XS – that comprise the world of Wynn Social.

“Amazing” is the word John Wood (Senior Executive Director, VIP Services | Tryst & XS) uses to describe Halloween with Wynn Social.  “It’s the best party day of the year, in Las Vegas; and it’s fantastic to see the effort that people put into their costumes!”

Based on the pervading Carnival theme that’s taking-over Tryst and XS, it would seem that their respective teams were inspired by “Fräulein Elsa's Cabinet of Curiosities” from last season’s Freak Show chapter of FX’s American Horror Story anthology.  Or, maybe they took a cue from HBO’s Carnivàle that ran from 2003-2005.  Either way, the theme lends itself to all sorts of creative expression – on the parts of both the venues and the guests – and is rife with costuming possibilities.

With David Clutch, Alie Layus, and Dave Fogg at Tryst; and Ruby Rose, Kaskade, Skrillex, and Diplo at XS; you’d think the carnival would be complete.  But that’s just the beginning; because over at Surrender, it’s Mad DJs Week, with DJ Snake, Laidback Luke and friends, and the indefatigable Krunkmeister supreme, Lil Jon.

Allow me to elaborate…  Surrender’s kicking-off Halloween Week, on Wednesday, with its annual Sexiest Costume Contest, with a prize pool of $20,000 (in cash and prizes), with sounds provided by DJ Snake; while on Saturday, there’s another Sexiest Costume Contest that’ll be awarding $10,000 (this time, all cash) – with a DJ-set by Lil Jon.  Also, any female guest who enters either contest will be given a Speed Pass, allowing her to bypass the long lines that form, for the Encore Beach Club auditions, next spring.

And let’s not forget that Laidback Luke is bringing his Super You&Me party, back to town.  The superhero-themed extravaganza will be taking-over Surrender, on Friday night, with Luke and his special guests Tujamo, 4B, Shelco Garcia, and Teenwolf.

All told, Wynn Social is bringing you 14 DJs, who’ll be spinning at a trio of clubs, over the six nights that comprise Halloween Week.  And so you can keep track of it, all; I’ve prepared the following calendar, for your scheduling needs.
