VEGAS Gives is a great event.  Guests come to support the eight ladies chosen, each year; and donate on behalf of their friend’s (or friends’) chosen non-profit organization(s).

In so doing, guests acquire raffle tickets for luxury items donated by the vendors of host venue, the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian|The Palazzo.  All of the donations made are then donated to the respective organizations, with a $1,500 bonus donation made to the organization that sold the most tickets.

Based on where they stood in the photo, to promote the event (taken, by ‘Los, for VEGAS, this summer, at Buddy V’s Ristorante, in the Grand Canal Shoppes), the members of the octet of lovelies, for 2014’s VEGAS Gives affair, and the respective organizations, for which they’re shilling, reads as follows:

This year, I’m very excited (and a bit torn), as seven of the eight ladies being honored are friends of mine.  So, I guess I’m supporting seven very dynamic women on behalf of seven very deserving organizations.   

Of course, this suits me, just fine; as it means more raffle tickets, for me!  And with signature drawing items donated by the likes of Barneys New York, Christian Louboutin, Diane von Furstenberg, Daniel Bouloud|db Brasserie, Kwiat|Belluso Jewelers, and Tory Burch, there’s certainly no shame in that game.
