I’ve been walking on air, for days.  Why?  Because Couture - that annual jardin de joaillerie – is back, at Wynn Las Vegas, from Thursday, May 31st – Monday, June 4th.

Not only is Couture the best gathering of the world’s finest jewelers, under one roof; but the circus of sparkle is one of the best indicators of how the purveyors of luxury and ultra-luxury goods are buying, as well as what they’re buying.

For me, it’s also a fun way to see friends from Istanbul, Copenhagen, Tel Aviv, San Francisco, and Boulder; and to get the jump on all the editors who aren’t able to really press-up into the glittery goodness I do so enjoy.

What’s got me all a’flutter before the show’s even started?  Well, the slideshow above features some of the pieces I’m looking forward to seeing, as they are debuted, this week.
