It’s Fashion’s Night Out, Vegas-style!

It seems like Fashion’s Night Out has taken-off, not just in New York, but in cities around the globe.  And while the Big Apple might have some pretty spectacular events planned – including The Ones performing in the windows at Bergdorf Goodman, and a charity-screening of The Devil Wears Prada featuring a Q&A with the film’s Academy Award-nominated Costume Designer, Patricia Field (moderated by PAPER Magazine’s Mickey Boardman) – Las Vegas has its share of festivities planned, as well.

Delivering a one-two punch at the white-hot epicenter of A-list designer boutiques and hip clientele are none other than the Wynn Esplanade and the Encore Esplanade.  This year, over 20 shops along these two stylish strolls are participating in Fashion’s Night Out, including Chanel, DIOR, Alexander McQueen, Manolo Blahnik, Louis Vuitton, Oscar de la Renta, Hermès, Rock & Republic, and Brioni, as well as the incredible specialty stores at Wynn|Encore that purvey everything, from clothes and shoes to décor and jewelry!

Sip on champagne and mingle to the music as models glide by, draped in the season’s hottest looks.  Designers will be popping-in to make personal appearances, and there will be previews, trunk-shows, and sneak peeks, galore.

And, as if all of this wasn’t enough to tempt you, I’ll be DJing at OutFit on the Wynn Esplanade.  So come on by, try-on a few things (a fun and flow-y Cristian Siriano gown, perhaps; or a maxi-tunic from Maison Martin Margiella; or one of those sleek and belted numbers from Lanvin that Alber Elbaz showed this season), and see if anything strikes your fancy.  While you’re there, grab some champers and (if it’s before 8:30pm) gimme a wave.  I’m always delighted to give an honest opinion about a look (but caveat emptor – I have no problem telling you if something makes your ass look big).
