Two days of frolicking, frivolity and festive fun in the sun ensued this past weekend when Whispering Giants presented the VIP Preview Weekend at RUMOR Las Vegas, the city’s new boutique hotel.

I’m holding-off on my actual review of the property until it’s actually had its Grand Opening (mid-September), but herein will tell about the weekend. And, what better way to do so, than to let some photos do my work for me. You know, that whole picture/thousand words thing..?

Sammy Takes Over

PS – in case you’re having trouble reading between the lines, I’ll put it thusly: I’ve got all these great photos, and I’m still a bit drained after the 48-hour party locomotive that ensued at RUMOR, so I’m just gonna mention the things that really impressed me, and leave the rest to the images: 1) the staff – valet, bell man, front desk, housekeeping, food servers, etc – were all sincerely friendly and almost preternaturally devoid of attitude; 2) Sammy had a blast in the dog-park and flirted shamelessly with the boys and girls hanging-out on the lawn; 3) super-strong A/C; 4) clean and fresh rooms without even the slightest hint of smoke; 5) the recurring decorative leitmotif of a woman in shadow that appears on the walls of the hotel's hallways; and 6) in-room Jacuzzi tub + rubber ducky + bubble bath = good times!
