You know how I’m wont to carry-on about the lack of clever New York-style events in Las Vegas? Well, here’s one being thrown by CityCenter, in conjunction with none other than the New Yorker (and really, does it get more New York-y than that?).
As a tribute to the art collection at CityCenter, the New Yorker is putting-on a one-night-only (actually, two-hours-only; this Saturday, from 7-9pm) exhibit, showcasing some of their most iconic art-themed covers. Additionally, one of the New Yorker’s acclaimed cartoonists will be on-hand to draw a customized cartoon, just for you!
What’s more, while you partake of signature cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at Vdara (in the Lobby Bar and Patio), you’ll be grooving to the now-sounds of the lovely DJ88.
Space is very limited, and knowing how much my darling readers love a good party (and a few good cocktails), we’re giving y’all first crack at the list. So get ready to rub shoulders with the culturati, and RSVP at CityCenterEvent@NewYorker.com, now.
CityCenter and the New Yorker present Cocktails, Covers, and Cartoons Saturday, May 15th 7 – 9pm Vdara Hotel & Spa – Lobby Bar and Patio 2600 West Harmon Avenue
