Executive Chef Geno Bernardo, of Nove Italiano, will be hosting a holiday cooking class on Saturday, November 21st from noon-3pm! The class will focus on the region of Emilia Romagna, where his great grandmother was raised and will be based on her favorite dishes growing-up.

The Cooking Class is $110 per person. Space is limited.

Nove (pronounced no-vay) Italiano places Italian dining in the context of 21^st Century America, while retaining the most authentic elements of Italian cuisine and culture. Located in the Palms' new Fantasy Tower, Nove Italiano is a unique blend of classical and modern elements. A curtain of hand-strung crystals and a purple-tinted mirror adorn the back bar of Nove Italiano's sexy lounge. The dining room is illuminated by dramatic hand-crafted LED Swarovski chandeliers suitable for a villa in Tuscany, while plasma television screens housed in gilded frames display dynamic electronic art. Throughout, Old World elements are juxtaposed against sleek modernism.

The kitchen team led by Executive Chef Geno Bernardo turns-out classic Italian fare with contemporary accents, including an extensive selection of seafood crudos (Italy's answer to sashimi or ceviche, cured with sea salt, citrus or infused oils), freshly-made pastas, tableside Caesar salad, bistecca florentina, fresh fish and shellfish. Spaghetti Nove, a seafood pasta and a house specialty, is prepared at a prominent station in the dining room.

The wine focuses on premier Italian appellations revered around the world including Barolo, Barbaresco, Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino and showcases vertical collections of acclaimed Super-Tuscans.
